VCD playback?
What the Dreamcast's ability to play back VCD in reasonable quality like? Would you say its comparable to a dvd player or not. Just wondering if its worth the cost and time learning how to do it and saving myself a few quid and not buying a DVD player.

Yo, VCD for DC is in no way comparable to DVD, but it is kinda clear depending on the movie file. Gypplay chops up, sometimes freezes, on some files that are kinda large, but otherwise if the movies looks good on the computer it will usually look good on the DC

VCD Sucks
i downloaded the VCD player for DC and it's crap, the VCD movie quality is really bad compare to when I play the VCD on my computer or my DVD-VCD player.
So if you are looking for quality, go get a DVD player and some DVDs!
