Some people do use legal copies of ClondCD
I have been using clonecd for about 2 or 3 years now. When I first got it, it would only write at 1x untill you bought a copy.
The cracks back then were editing your reg. sys a hasstle for me so I bought a copy for about 40.00 I think?
I have not had 1 problem with clonecd untill the new safedisk came out! I then bought a Lite- on 24x and I still have no problems!!
I also have keygens for clonecd that have also worked for friends.
If you got a bad crack or keygen, its your fault for not researching better!

IF YOU CANNOT USE CLONECD YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HARDWARE OR YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW TO USE IT!!!!!!!

Correction: CloneCD has a problem with hardware, not me.

hardware is not always the fauilt, clonecd maybe the problem but is quite rare

this seems rude-ish to most, but if your writer is not compatible with clone cd, isnt it time to trade that 2x thing in for a new one? i know it was top of the line when u bought it, but times are a changing.

That's a 4x, and that's true, and I do intend to upgrade it.

My point is that I shouldn't be forced to do so by a piece of software. It's compatible with anything else.

Why is it that recently every1 wants to attack everyone on this forum usually when they're just helping them out. Take a look at a few other threads and you'll see what I mean.

Just for example, Shang Tsung going on about searching and researching - you shouldn't rush into silly criticisms like that - you mentioned earlier "mpborgy is not the only one who has this problem. I have it two,". (instead of too)
And worrying out crap things like dis are just pointless. Most people here are trying to help others - but some people are just not willing to have their opinions changed on some issues, even when they are obviously wrong - such as many debates on people saying they made a perfect copy by using a fixed exe (which isn't perfect by the way).
Sometimes listening to and taking advice from these people can actually help you - amazing!

Sheesh. You take my funny comment on "searching" and "researching" as a personal attack against kcodd?

I know that I don't type perfect and that my english isn't perfect either, and never will be. That's not the point.

The point I wanted and still want to stress is that it's very cool when people try help each other out, but no one should expect a perfect solution to his problems. Also, I don't like the attitude which I sometimes see here about CloneCD, which everyone seems to worship.

I've heard many great things about CloneCD's ability to crack hard protections, and maybe I'd be able to appreciate it myself if the damn thing worked on my computer.

BTW, I will try reinstalling it again when I have time and will. Maybe indeed I found a bad crack and need to "research" better. And no, I won't buy it.

What I don't like is whenever someone comes with a problem with CloneCD the only reply he's likely to get is "CloneCD is great. CloneCD is God. Worship it. If you can't get it to work, you are either stupid or your hardware sucks. We are all using it with great success. Adjust yourself to it or die."

That isn't helping. Like I said before, one cannot expect everyone else to solve his problems. But if you can't really help, say it. No one will be pissed at you, and no one has the right to.

- i'm really just having a go at some of the other ppl in some of the other threads i've been posting in. Gets on me nerves a bit.

With regards to CCD - there has never really been ne big competition against CCD that's why it is seen to be so good at what it does. It gets the job dun for most ppl here - but maybe in your case it's just not happening for you and you are welcome to try such things as Blindwrite (I'd say it's the closest yet)

i think there are two big reasons everyone in clonecd centered. the first is the interface. its simple as all hell. get lost with 4 buttons? good luck!

the other big reason is that olli constantly updates it. its not one of those 'we released this, lets sit on our ass for 3 years' products. the lack of competition helps, but there would be more competition if people were willing to pay for these products, rather than searching and researching the web for a 'good' crack as opposed to the bad ones that shang finds

i love to help people on here, i really do, but there are probably 50-100 mohaa posts on the gropu that are already archived. 2-3 new ones every day. hell, sim's questions have started to come up as well. i may be old fashioned for a college age kid, but if these newb's dont wanna help themselves, i have no qualms about flaming them.

The lack of competition does help. If the guys at Ahead decided to implement powerful protection cracking mechanisms in Nero, Elaborate Bytes would be out of business in two weeks.
