Talking Bootind dvdr backups with neo22&AR2V2

Using Neo 2.0/2.2

- Power up the PS2 and keep the power/reset button pressed to use the EA mode
( with the AR2 V2.xx Disc 1 already inside )
- When the AR2 finishes booting, just press the Eject button ( Keep the
power/reset button pressed, it's very important ) swap the original AR2 disc with
the original DVD PS2 disk ( with a really big toc, ex: GTA / DMC / DOA2 etc ) and
press the Eject bottom again, to close the tray!
- Wait 10 seconds!
- Make sure you have the "Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX2" Code selected before you proceed
- Select "Start game"
- With codes
- Press X
- A window with an error message will appear, release the power/reset button and the
PS2 tray will open automatically, just swap the DVD ( original with the big TOC )
for the DVDR backup and let the tray close ( don't forget the original DVD must be
bigger that the backup one, or it will not work )!
- Now press X to acknowledge the error message
- If you don't want to select codes (cheats) for the backup you want to run, just
skip the next step (*)

- (*) Press 'O' the number of times needed to get to the main menu!
After getting to the main menu, press "Action Replay Codes" and select the codes/game
associated to the backup you want to run.

- Press the key "Start" on the PS2 Joypad!
- Select "Without Codes" or (*) "With Codes" if you selected the codes for your backup.
- Press X !
- And it boots

PS: It was tested with V3/V4 and AR2 V2.00/2.02

I'm glad you got it Bau Bau, and not me! God, what a horrible palaver. I'd say the NEO2.2 is out of time.

Well after all it is a games forum, it's not like we've only 24hrs to save the universe or something
If there's good info to be had why can't we smile at the same time?
Idon't know Charlie anymore than anyone else on the forum.
I respect him because he takes a lot of time trying to help other forum members with there questions and problems

Argo you'd never know that we didn't have to save the universe in 24 hours. Modchips in someone's PS2 NOW are like saving the universe in 24 hours to a heck of a lot of people who don't know either you nor me from Adam.

Here's another limerick to amuse Bau Bau:

A mathematician named Hall
Had a hexahedronical ball;
The cube of its weight plus his todger times eight
Was four fifths of five eighths of eff all.

... unless

He was also the man from Tashkent
Whose Todger was battered and bent.
To save himself trouble
He put it in double
And instead of coming he went.
