Exclamation Ps2 Copies ?????

I'm new to all this, but I'm a big fan of PS2.
I downloaded Nero Rom Burner and CloneCD.
I purchased yesterday the Gameshark2 and PS2 Modship.
Hopefully it will be self explanatory (installation/use).

Now if you can help me........
How can I make copies of my PS2 games. Can it be copied into one CD? What type of CD (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R) do I need and what Size (650MB, 700MB etc...)
What are the procedures??? What software? Can all games be copied? Is there a link on this website that explains it all?

I have a DVD Rom and a separate CD-Burner(same PC), does that hep the process??? Do I need anything else such as DVD Burner?

Sorry about all the "questions", but I hate to be uneducated and so far I was not able to find answers for my questions.

As a way to learn by messing with it,
I have tried today to copy my Max Payne using the CloneCD, but as I clicked to start it would speed up the drive and then slow and it would never start reading my Game.
My CD-Burner is on the list of the "compatibles" of CloneCD. What may be the problem???

a little about me and what I believe........
**********I would never stop purchasing the real game mainly because I love to have the original to everything I own. I worked hard for it, I own it and I am not giving it to you (just kidding), but I want to have copies of my stuff. " My Kids scratch everything" **********

Sincerely,
Eduardo Choate

check www.megagames.com/ps2 for turtorials.. or search here.., anyway you need 700mb cds for games that are bigger then 650 and smaller then 700 and 650 for games smaller then 650.. You only need to have a dvdburner if you want to burn dvd backups like ace combat 4 (really big)for ex. but you can put the most of the dvd games on a regular 700mb cdr because most dvd games ain't filling the entire dvd and they will fit on a cdr..

ANSWER: CloneCD makes 1:1 copies of CD games and this is mportant for EA sports CD based games. You should only use CD-R type and 700MB gives you greatest flexibility. See my post "CD-R Burning Speed" for important advice. Your burner MUST support RAW-DAO+96. Dont forget the MOD CHIP. You need one of these to boot backup games in conjunction with your Gameshark..

ANSWER: In addition to MEGAGAMES which contains patches, utilities and stuff you won't need if you use CloneCD, there is www.psxcopyworld.co.uk with a lot of tutorials and a useful Q&A section. When it's back up, www.ps2ownz.com is a treasure chest.

ANSWER: I am 100% sure that a DVD burner is best. Squasshing 4GB down to 650 or 699 MB is a waste of time. Take Tony Hawkes - to squeeze it down you lose the movies given as prizes which contain important tips to go to the next stage. It's a total road to nowhere, time consuming, error prone and frustrating when you think you cant get >650MB rips to work. Don't do iT!

ANSWER: Max Payne is a DVD (you had it in your DVD-ROM, yes?) and CloneCD can't burn it anywhere. CloneCD is for CDs only and it was trying to find a CD.
