My friend give to me a copy of is CTR racing game (psx) it's working just fine (I've try it on my psx). now I'm trying to make a copy of it and all the copy I have made don't boot (try with nero and cdrwin). My question is do you need to put a patch when you are making a copy of a copy ?

YAN, a bit more info required...
Make of burner, media etc.... burf mentioned that if the copy was created with CloneCD then only CloneCD will copy it! Your burner needs to be 100% compatable with CloneCD for it to work properly. vlchang.... Basicaly there are 3 types of PSX patch, 1, Protection fix - to overcome the copyright protection contained in some of the PSX titles. 2, Trainer - gives you options for selecting certain cheats before you start the main game. 3, NTSC to PAL patch or visa versa - used to run backups of games from a different region. Handy for the PSOne. Some patches you could call "hybrid" as they have more than one function, i.e. NTSC to PAL plus 4 trainer etc.
