Laser Issues.

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of any problems with the NEO2.5 chip frying the laser, or is the capacitor on the board the one that prevent this from happening? I'm not having any problems with mine, I just want to take precautionary measures if there's a potential problem down the road... Thanks again all. (Also, I've been reading about "Laser Calibration". Is this done via software, like a Firmware Update, or is it done with the pot on the laser carriage? Just curious.)
