Question Booting DVDr's

I have a Pal SCPH - 30003 PS2. It is chipped with a Neo 2.2 and I am using AR V2 to play CDr backups. Can I also play DVDr backups with this setup?

Lightbulb Booting DVDrs

The AR2 Will not run DVDR's what you will need is a
AR1.1 But these are difficult to find as i searching for one myself.
I know some one who has one and uses it just for this function
I belive these were originally produced for the ps2 when it first came out but came with an additional disc For this purpose

If you have a v5 PS2 then with NEO2.2 you're stuffed. It can't be done.

If you have an earlier PS2, then you need AR2/1.7 or 1.9 to boot DVD-Rs. Difficult to get.
