Unhappy burning games

I am a little new at this and want to now if there is a way to burn playstation games with out the use of a converter or a modchip, and if it is possible to do this for a ps2 game as well?

There is not really any way to use it without a mod chip or converter. You would either need a boot up cd or a mod chip because the playstation looks for files on the uter edge of the cd that are hidden when u burn a game. You need something to bypass this and just go directly into the game and that is what a boot up cd or mod chip would accomplish. A mod chip is pretty cheap anyway. You can get one for 10$ US and if you are not good at soldering you can get an external one for about the same price. They work the same.
