nothing seems to work for max

ive tried using unsafedisc 2_40_10 on the maxpayne.exe and just get a "random error" message. I've tried downloading patches (V1 and V1.5)and replacing the old exe, the game loads the intro then crashes. I really want it for this game because the whole game is on mr HDD and it's annoying to use the cd. Anyone got it working?

1: OK, first just copy the game with nero, easy CD, Clone Cd whatever.

2: Then download the Max Payne NoCD v1.1 from gcw

3: Thi should work aslong as the game isn't patched etc. Maxpayne Default Version is v1.1 (I think)

MY problem with Max Pane is that when I try and install it, it gets about half way done and then says "PLEASE INSERT DISK 0" and this is with the original cd, not a backup.

Try to decrease the speed of your CD-ROM drive (e.g. with "CD Bremse")

If what Kanalradde said didn't work then copy the whole CD to your HDD and install from there, you'll still need a nocd crack though.
