Creating VCD to play in my DVD player

I created a VCD, using Adaptec Easy VCD creator. I used mpeg video files downloaded from the net. It all seemed to go fine. It recorded to disk, and finished up. After it was finished up, I placed it in my home DVD player. It did nothing but spin for a few minutes, then no disk message. Please help. It will be appreciated.

I'd suggest you go to www.vcdhelp.com and folow their walk throughs...

I create a lot of VCD's and useVirtualdub and TMPGEnc to rip and encode, then Nero to burn..I find Nero better for VCD burning.
VCDHelp is a great site..it's worth spending time on there if you intend to make VCD's
