neo key 2.3/how do you tell the version of your ps2

hey i just ordered a neokey 2.3 and i am really not sure how to install it, i have not seen directions anywhere for this one, does anyone know what to do for installation of this one? also what is the easiest way to tell what version you have of the ps2? since mine has the eight screws on the bottom does that mean that i have a version 4. just something i was wondering before taking it apart.
