Medal of Honor (whats the scoop?)

im just wondering if anyone knows anything about backing up MOH (safedisc etc...). a LAN group in the town i live in is looking to play this over a lan and i just need to find out if its possible to play this over a lan without individual cd's and or keycodes (i am in NO WAY asking for keycodes or anything like that tho). im just trying to find out if im going to need an original copy to play this on a lan. any input?

MOHAA is the first game to incorporate Macrovisions newest version of SD2, I can't remember the revision number but it is something like 2.51.021...I have it written down at home but I'm at work right now. I hate to admit it but not even my Plextor drive can copy the disc I consider myself to be very experienced with back-ups and after ripping out chunks of hair I finally figured out how to do it...The only drive that can currently copy this game is the LiteOn 24X or 32X drives. I'm not even sure that a new firmware update for my plexi will help. According to insiders at Elaborate-Bytes.com they are aggresively working on the issue...we can only wait to see whether it will require new hardware or software...or both. I just dropped $82.99 on a LiteOn drive just so I can copy this game....It looks like junk compared to my Plextor but it does the job....at half the price!!

Ok. Medal of honor has the new safe discv2.51.021. At the moment there is no unwrapper to by pass this and make a exe. out of it ..But all is not lost there is the new version of beta blocker that can cope with this..Just use clone cd,save the image to desk top for easy finding.Start Betablocker,Drag and drop the clone cd image into the betablocker box,Click search image..Then click patch image...and burn as normal..Happy hunting..If this fails try the new clonerv3 as well

I have a sony 140e ( is getting on a bit) I used a program called Clny and then used Clonecd to backup my discs. Clony will give you the setting for safe disc. The setting are max read speed: 4x read retrys 3 and error corrections None. It will give you a perfect copy. You will need the nocd patch from this site to play the game using your back up though. Hope this helps.

This isn't a perfect copy. This is using a crack.

Rulazy, I think you need to listen to what the people on the forum are saying.

Having the correct settings for the newest version of safedisc are not enough. this new version has been tested on several drives, and we have found 2 drives that can burn it successfully. thats right, 2. and neither one of them is the sony.

part 2 of my response to the relative newbie.......the part where you say that it will make a perfect copy, but will require a crack to play.....maybe i'm being a little too unforgiving, but a perfect copy is perfect right? that means that it needs no crack, because it is the same as the original.

research research research, and try not to talk out of your ass about cracks, k?

Geez, Sorry i will not use the word perfect again. But i couldnt think of any other word to use. The game loads, the game plays - So to me that makes it perfect.
