ghost recon with win xp

i can´t play to the ghost recon with windows xp instaled.

i had to instaled the windows 98 for i can play.

I have a AMD 1600 with 128 ram , and i´ve a voodoo3 target graffic.

i download the .exe of the game but it don´t works
