As far as I know, ur Mitsumi isn't capable of making 1:1 copies of Safedisk 2 - I don't think it's capable of 'correct EFM c####g'.
You could try to use Clone CD's 'Amplify Weak Sectors' feature. This MAY work. Doesn't work with all writers. If not just try the cracks again.
