Lite-On 24102B with CloneCD. The only possible way currently to backup this game as a 1:1 copy. Of course you can always use the cracks but the lite-on is the only 1:1 solution.

You should not tell anyone that the writer you have is the only 1:1 solution
you have not reasearched clonecd's site very well, and yes your writer will do the job but there are others as well...
This was posted by me:

These writers will:
plextor px-w2410a, teac cd-w524, toshiba sd-r1202 dvd combo drive, lite on ltr24102b. all these writers will do the following:
1)best supported write mode of raw-dao 96
2)buffer underrun technology
3)correct EFM enc####g of regular bit patterns
4)best supported read mode for data and audio raw+96
whith all these options you should be covered untill the next wave of copywrite detection....

PS: there are exceptions to the rules with writers
but these writers above have been tested with clone cd.

Bit of research would show that the latest version of Safedisk 2 (2.51.021) is DEFEATING all the writers that could previously copy Safedisk 2 except for the Lite-On 24X and 32X.

Although there has been some success with a modified version of Betablocker. There seems to be a few different weak sectors. Hopefully Olli can fix this in Clone CD, and hopefully the Plextor team will be working away on a new firmware to "fix" my Plex24X

You can still use Daemon Tools 3.0 to backup SD2 protected games!
SafeDisc 2.51.021 has been tested with Daemon 3.0 and works fine!

The only ´special way´ to install the Daemon Tools is to run the setup.exe ... you MUST NOT (!) start the .msi file!
Come to the Daemon Tools forum ####://board.dtools.de so the developer may help you ...

Can you point me to where you found info about
the lite on?
The plextor is not working as far as the 1:1
You maybe right!

There´s no .msi-file!? For sure there´s! There MUST be!
Inside the .zip are 4 files:
Daemon.msi, setup.exe, history.txt and readme.txt - unzip ALL (!) files and run setup!

Well, try to run setup - what happens?
If it installs fine and comes up with an error after reboot, try to uninstall it (via control panel -> software) and install it again ...
