clone cd compatible issue
i have a philips 1208 cd/rw which is cd clone compatible,when when i go to back up delta force land warrior,which is safe disc 2 it says my philips in not compatible.
y is this and cant i back up a game with safe disk2

If you are talking about the philips pcrw 1208 you will have one problem. The writer supports correct efm enc####g but it only supports raw-dao16, which isn't enough for a sd2 game. Besides, do not try to make an image with this writer as its best supported read method is only raw. That's far beyond enough for sd2.
I hope I remember the facts correctly, as I used to have the same one. Maybe I am wrong.

Well, you should not be able to backup the game 1:1, but you could either use a new version of clonecd and amplify the weak sectors. You could also try to use betablocker. Some people on this forum claim to have success this way, I haven't tried this as my writer is fully supported (incl. efm) by clonecd. After all, you could use a patch. This isn't the best solution, but your game will hopefully work then.
