How do you replace an Executable ?

I have Aliens vs Predator2 and to play it without the CD you have to replace the AVP2exe with the exe file from the game copy archive. but how? The replacement exe has to be unzipped and the original is located in the shortcut, but when I tried to erace it and hit Apply, a message said the file name was invalid.

You unzip the file. Use your windows explorer and go to where the program is installed. Right click on the crack and hit copy and then go to the program file and right click anywhere as long as it is inside the file. It will ask if you wish to over write the exe file and just click yes.
