MOTORACER 3
well guys, theres some top protection in this game, ive tried all kinds and i now have 4 lovely drinks coasters !.....cant even see what protection is on this game, ive tried SD2, SECUROM NEW, CD CHECKS and using the INSEKTORS method etc....still no joy, the game loads ok and when you hit GO it comes up DEMO VERSION......clever one this, i guess a simpleton like me wont crack it so i'll wait for one of you clever peeps out there to help me out !
shame cos its a top game.....maybe i should keep it and swallow the £29.99 !!!!!!

This is protected by the new, well not totally new, protection called "TAGES". I was reading something on it the other night, very interesting to see if anything or anyone can by-pass it.
I'm looking into getting this game & see what i can do with it....

Seems there are problems with this game in WinXP and Win2K...in fact not even with the original game and those os can get it to work properly.
There are two methods to fix this: 1. Simply copy the cdrom/data/share/sys dir (just the sys dir not the entire path) to your game dir (game dir will be gamedir/sys (which includes 2 files in Sys dir). The game installer puts these two files in windows/system32/drivers instead of windows/system32 (that whould fix it for users with original cd as well). If that doesn't work: 2. Unrar the contents of the mr3_fixed.rar (3 files) to your game dir and enjoy!

The game has been cracked , there is a patch available for xp and win2k I saw it on one of the forums .
But i don't have the game and i could'nt care for it.

I'm looking for the file mr3_fixed.rar to fix the problem with motoracer not working with windowsXP. I tried copying the file as per the instructions above but I'm not sure I copied it to the correct spot, so it did not work.
Can anyone tell me where to get this file?

WHAT!!
IVE never had any problems with MR3 and im running Xp Pro....
I just installed and play away.. my hardware: Athlon XP 1900 ECS Elitegroup K7VTA3 mobo 1 GB kingston DDR ram MSI Geforce 3 ti200 Soundblaster Audigy
