Simple enough dude
three things to take into account when patching an exe file:- 1.In windows when you click and hold down your right mouse button on any folder or 'exe' (patch exe's included) you on the release of the right button, will be given 1 of 4 dragging choices either, copy here/move here/create shortcuts here/or lastly cancel 2.If you left click ,drag and release, a copy of the file or folder will automatically be made into the dragged to folder. 3.So If you want to patch an 'exe' follow these simple steps :- COPY YOUR ORIGINAL EXE TO A FOLDER AWAY FROM THE GAMES FOLDER ( for safe keeping only, if all goes well then disregard it after a few launches, but if your asked for a new cd key upon your first re-launch then it may be better to re-patch with the original exe).... THEN DRAG AND DROP THE PATCH 'EXE' TO THE GAMES FOLDER(OVERWRITEING THE ORIGINAL 'EXE' AT THE WINDOWS PROMPT). hope this helped stick in their and have fun. Regards ian.m |
