PC GAME ON DVD DISC - HELP!!!!!!!

I'm really stuck here, my dvd movies play fine on my dvd drive, but i have a dvd with games on it, and my drive doesnt read the dvd at all, but when i took it back, it worked on the guy's pc fine, I even wiped my HD, it needed done anyway, so there's not a lot on my machine. Does anyone have a clue as to why this dvd wont work, is it something simple???????????? PLEASE HELP!!!
