How do I know if fade is activated in flashpoint ???

Hi I tried to copy my flashpoint, but it didn't work loads of read errors and ended up at 770 mb. I installed the game, patched it to 1.20 and cracked it with a no-cd patch. It works but im not sure if fade is working or not. How can I tell ?

A box with 'real games dont fade' or something comes up on the screen - only happens with dodgy serials playing online
