Trouble copying FlightSim 2000

I have flight sim 2000 professional install on my computer. I'm trying to make a copy of it. I used blindread/write and copied the disks. When I start the game it tries to verify the CD. When I insert the disk it says that it's the incorrect disk. Of course it works when i stick in the original.

I looked at the original disk and the copy i made. They appear to be the same. Anyone know what I'm missing?? I've read a lot of information about copying games with Safedisc protection, however, i must be missing something.

A person with at least half a brain can understand that I have looked into copying games with Safedisc. So... wtf are you talking about again?

nice of you to create an account just to reply to my message you dumb ass.

I have a Plextor PX-W1610TA -- I am pretty positive that will do about any form of read/write I want it to.

Get a copy of Clone CD, (jus look 4 it). Your Plex should is able to handle this protection (I think it's only Safedisk 1)

Read to an image file with Clone CD using ur Plex Use these settings:
Fast Error Skip - Read Retrys 0, Software
and check Read Subchannel Data from Data Tracks and Audio Tracks just to be safe.

This will make a perfect 1:1 copy of it (if it's Safedisk 1) - get a copy of Clony just to check. If it is something different, it'll tell ya the settings to use in Clone CD.
