Tutorial on ####://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk and a lot of useful Q&As/Tutorials besides.

For now:

Boot with DVDRX
When the region numbers appear EJECT the DVDRX disk
Swap in the backup game and press EJECT to close tray
Press START on the controller and a properly made backup should load
