Colin Mcrae Rally 2
Hi,
Do I need to use a fixed crack to get cmr2 working? I copied 1:1 with clonecd (Latest version) but it installs ok but then will only run with the crack applied. Is there settings or another program I can get it a perfect 1:1 copy. I have a HP cd writer plus 8200. I read sub. data from audio and data and had dont repair sub. data on. I also had the same problem with Max Payne, (which I know is safe disc so I take it that means it cant be 1:1 copied). PLease Help, Conor. |

1. Never have sub channel stuff selected for safedisc. It doesn't use it
2. With your burner you'll never get a 1:1 copy as it can't do sd2 correctly. You have two choices. 1. Use your cloneCD image on your HD and mount it with Daemon Tools. No need for any crack then 2. Use Unsafedisc to create your own no-cd unprotected game.exe file. If you don't know how, then mail me and I'll send you instructions |

Colin McRae 2 is SecuROM protected so your settings should have worked Conor!
Have you tried reading/writing the CD using your HP? My SCSI CD-ROM will not read SubChannel data so I have to use the CD-Writer for reading/writing SecuROM stuff! DrA. |
