I guess GAMECOPYWORLD didnt want the Official Operation Flashpoint v1.2 Update With CD Check Removed
I posted this file several times for the users of this board and also emailed it to GCW.. I am to assume that the forum admin removed my posts ( Guess he decided to consider this as warez ). The CD check removal was not a warez issue but was a legitimate complaint by owners of the ORIGINAL that had errors with the safedisk protectection and therefore the CD check was removed for those individuals... Maybe GCW should reconsider to host the CD checked removed Update to benifit the community......

The No-CD Patch is already available so why complain that it is not?!

I have been looking all over for the cracked update. Is there anyway I can get this file or could you tell me how to remove the CD check from the offical 1.2 update. And for anyone else, I'm not talking about a no-cd exe. for the 1.2 version. I'm looking for the full patched up date. Thanks for your help. |

If there was plenty of space available then it would not be a problem but this is NOT the case...
But my guess is that the fixed update is no more than using unSafeDisc on the official update! Did anyone try this to see if that worked?! btw the "CD checked removed Update" is just the update and a seperate No-CD EXE (the one available @ GCW) |

It is possible to use unSafeDisc to create a fixed Update
Tonight I will post everything so it will work fine for everyone without posting a 40MB file again! |

I did finnally crack the update. I had to use my other computer because my main one didn't like it.
But the supposed operationflashpoint2.exe thats not supposed to active fade still does. I guess I will live with it for know. -== "And I just said up yours baby!"==- |

DiZtraction
Your Fixed Update can now be recreated using unSafeDisc & patches, this is only 15KB which is better than a 38 MB file ![]() Thans for letting me know! |

Empire.... Soooooo true but not everyone is confident in using the unsafedisk patching... If they were they wouldnt all be screaming out for th update... I dont like the idea of a 40meg file but for the convenience of others it was necessary...

Gamecopyworld does not cater to those who cannot try things for themselves, there is absolutely no need to host a file of this size for those who will not be able to get even that to work!

I used unsafe disc on the update, which worked fine, but when i tried to find the string position it did not come up with any of the 8 listen in the file "ofp_120_fixed_update_1.ace". It did find "dcX" though.
I applied the update to OFP anyway without patching the update, but FADE is still active. I am using the OperationFlashpoint2.exe also.Any suggestions? Thanks |
