diablo 2 & rundll32.exe(all english)

i have a backup of diablo 2 and last week it was working fine. But when i tried it just recently it does **NOT** work, even when i try it with the original!!. I have reason to believe it may be linked with my windows program rundll32.exe. Whenever i start up my cpu, it shows the message"Rundll32.exe has performed an illegal operation etc"(you know the rest)

Can anyone help me?? and does anyone has a **WORKING** version of rundll32.exe??

I have tried other rundll32.exe files but they come up with the same result, i've also tried reinstalling windows 98 and im don't really wanna format, but is that my only chance??

oops!

looks like a virus... if not, try to scan an defrag you HD, if the problem continues, try to reinstall windows. It doesn't look like a Diablo 2 problem. (although you can try to reinstall the game, of course)

good luck
