Newbie help w Mech Commanders2

I guess I need a little or maybe a lot of help, I'm trying to backup mech 2 and i think i've replaced the EXE file but when they say "Burn the contents of the tempdir" i get lost because I'm not really sure which program to use to do this? nero, cdrWin, clonecd? most say copy disk, not just copy a file dir from my hard drive. I guess i'm just confused and maybe lost ?
any help would be great

CDRWin, use 'file backup and tools', 'build and record an iso9660 image file'
Use same volume label as original under 'advanced options'
Make sure that 'preserve full pathnames' is OFF.
