Help with Diablo 2

I have just got a burner and i am trying to make a backup of Diablo 2. I have a Diamond Data DD8432 burner with Nero version 5.5, i managed to do a 1:1 copy of the install disk but when i did the same for the play disk it wont work. If someone could tell me exactly how to copy the play disk it would really help.

I've had this same problem, Diablo 2 has some kind of protection that only detects the original cd, so just get a crack from GCW if there is one

Or you put your copy into your "normal" CD-ROM drive (if you have one).

i did the same thing, you still have to have the copy of the burned diablo 2 play disc, but then go to www.megagames.com and get a crack for it, then it will work, if you know how, i use winrar from winrar.com, then extract the crack that you just downloaded to the diablo 2 file under winrar, then next time you put in your burned copy of diablo 2 play disc it should go right, if you need more help my msn messenger name is emaxxracing**********com, my yahoo messenger name is juztyn_2000, and my icq # is 124016761

It is possible you uninstalled something and allowed a Diablo shared dll file to be deleted by the system or other...Suggest you be more exact about what is missing. Which dll is missing from your system?

I like many others absolutely detest the requirement that makes noise and wears out our CDROMs. I installed with my burned backup, then patched with the official-patch, then followed the directions from a No-CD crack and have zero problems...
