cd clone

i am using cd clone and i am having trouble copying a cd. it copys it to the temp folder fine but when it starts to copy it to the cd it ejects it and an error comes up saying CD FAILED ILLEGAL REQUEST: NO ADDITIONAL SENCE INFO (5:0*10:0*02) please help will be very greatful as i cant copy nothing. the speed of my writter is 32 8 8 and it is a samsung.

What cd are you trying to copy?

and what model samsung is the writer?
CloneCD 3.0.8.1 just came out today, update to that if you havent already and check the Supported Writers section of the CloneCD website to make sure your writer is supported.

Also, the only time I've ever had errors like that is when I tried to write to the CD at a speed the blank cd didnt support. Try dropping down to a slower write speed.

hi thanks for the reply it is a samsung sw-408 and i am trying to copy windows me but it is not coping anything but the silly thing is that i had it working until i changed my o/s sytem today to win me. please help

Go to www.goldenhawk.com and click on the Downloads section and get the ASPI drivers and try installing them. Maybe they were erased in the OS upgrade.
Get them at this ftp.
ftp://ftp.adaptec.com/software_pc/aspi/aspi32.exe

Hi there,
Well, Windows Me does not have any protection on it at all.
Try using your burning software that came with the writer - probably Adaptec EasyCd Creator.
Can u copy anything else?
How old is the Samsung drive?
Maybe the write laser is starting to fail.
