Final fantasy X and Metal Gear Solid 2 backups?

Hi, I just wanted to know if someone has heard of if these two games have already been successfully backuped to CD-r format.
P.S. Is it true that the PS2 with the neo 2 ModChip can't read games in DVD-R format?

Which version of ps2 do you have (v4,v5,...)? Is it PAL, NTSC or what? I ask you because I think that neo 2,5 does not run dvdr's with v5. I recommend you origachip (visit www.origachip.com for more info)

Final fantasy and metal gear can't be fit inside a cdr because they are too big. You will need almost 7 cd's for each one! However, if somebody knows a way, let us know!
