Please, need assistance burning backup of "Undying" and "Desperados".

Hi,
I have these two games and I want to make a fully functional backup from them (with no needed crack...). I have a Plextor 1610A burner with firmware 1.02 version and DMA setting set to off.
I have tried burning both games with CloneCD on speed 1X but it failed to read. Maybe it is because I checked the read sub channel data i don't know.
Please, advise me how to burn these games with their exact settings and which program can do the job for me. If possible please give me a link to that program. I currently have Clony, CloneCD, Nero, FireBurnner.
Also I would like to know, when burning CD's is it better to burn CD to CD or make an image first??

Thank-you very much!
LIOR

Undying is SafeDisc2 protected, so try BetaBlocker http://www.geocities.com/cdbeta/ to create a perfect backup, if it fails you have to use the Daemonīs fast dump feature http://www.daemon-tools.com (see instructions for details) and play with enabled SafeDisc emulation,
be sure to set the Elby CDIO Control to WinASPI if you use Win9x/ME! (CloneCD program group),
Desperado is Laserlock protected so just create a RAW copy with CloneCD,
it may take some time though to read the read errors (part of the protection),
so this answers your last question: Never do on the fly backups, always create an image first!
