Problem copying a copy(sorry, backing up a back-up)

I have tried 6 or 7 times to back up a cd rip of GTA3(NTSC). The 'original' backup works perfectly with our neokey/dvdx 3003 V3, and with our friends neo2.2 3003 V4 but when you back up the copy using CDRwin(3.8 cracked version) or CDclone(21 day demo version) the copy of the copy always loads to about 1/3rd of the 'loading bar' before stopping. The burners used both(YAMAHA) support RAW DAO and the settings on both CDRwin and CDclone(or is it cloneCD) ignore errors rather than rectify them.

any comments would be greatly appreciated.

First, never use a crack serial with cdrwin. Second, no matter what software you use never select ignor read errors. Read errors should always be ABORT. Try washing the backup with warm (not hot) soapy water if this doesnt work and you still get read errors you may have to find another ripped backup to copy from...Also try reading at 8x and copying at 1x or 2x. Slower speeds produce better backups.

There is no reason why you should not be able to copy a copy. I would concentrate on CloneCD - cracked serials are dodgy and the Gestapo now know where you are!

Please set Abort on Read Error. Even though the original copy might boot, there could still be a copying problem. To prove this out when copying via the HDD, do this setting; that doesn't cost a coaster but it will prove out the disk.

Also, you could try feeding CloneCD from ClonyXL to ensure you have the right parameters set for CloneCD.
