MS Train Sim. Disc 2 backup difficulty

I am having difficulty backing up the second disc of MS Train Sim. CloneCD reports that the first thousand sectors on the disc cannot be read, then goes on to create the rest of the image. Is this normal? Also, once I have successfully backed up both discs, what patches / "cracks" will I need to install and/or run the game (as I hear the No-CD on GCW is corrupted or something).

I managed to crack the second disk last night.I did upload the details but I cant seem to find them today so here we go again.
Forget patching you wont need to.Instead get a copy of clone cd (theres probably one kicking around at www.djtozz.ws, but caution if you have kids as often these sites lead to porn).
Set up the clone cd and then.
Dont woory too much if your cd writer isnt supported fully by clone cd, mine wasnt either.Just use a cdrom. also depending on the version of clone cd you have the options may vary slightly but just try to keep them as close as you can.
Step 1 set read speed to a max 0f 8x (system speed dependent)
Step 2 check the sub channel data from data
Step 3 check the sub channel data from audio
Step 4 check the fast error skip
Step 5 set read retry to minimum 5 seconds
Step 6 uncheck error correction
Step 7 uncheck intelligent bad sector scan
Step 8 Dont report bad sectors
and finally make sure you know where the image is being saved to.
Start image copy.
Next Stage
Once the image file is ripped to hard drive its time to rip back to cd
Step 1 set speed to 1x-12x (again system speed dependant)
Step 2 use the option "RAW DAO"
Step 3 Select "dont repert subchannel data"
Step 4 Dont bother with a simulation or "test write"
Step 5 Use burn proof if you can
Step 6 Dont wait for buffers to fill
Step 7 Close last session

I installed this on the standard installation but assume it will work on the full should anyone want to use 2GB to play with trains.Anyway Enjoy.
