DVD-R BACKUP/ DEVIL MAY CRY

HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE DVD-R ZONE...........................

Anyway, could anyone help me with backing up "DEVIL MAY CRY" to dvd-r.
I get read errors at about 86% using NERO, PRIMODVD and VOB INSTANTCD/DVD.
I am using a Pioneer A03 reading to a udma133/7200 HDD at all speeds.(1x to max)
I have seen a couple of posts about this, yet no answers........
Any help and/or advice would be great.
Thanx all who read this.

..........and the Lord said unto Mose's "Use Windows 2000"..........but he used Windows 98 and made a coaster.

Anyway, your problem is likely to be that the hard disk volume is FAT (2GB limit) or FAT32 (4GB limit). It needs to be NTFS which means W2000 or XP.

Dat's it.

So if it's not NTFS and I should have read your first post properly, the DVD has a problem. Have you tried washingit in warm soapy water?

If the damage is on the top (which is very close to the data surface) there's unlikely to be a way out.

give it good clean turn your read speed down
if u still get error at 86% allow error to be written(option in primo)game should still play as long as not to many errors
or get a different copy to copy
it sounds like a scratch disk

Atleast i have a DVD with a large TOC now.
