need a REAL SMART burner to help me create file for upload

ive read all of the posts (i think) and i understand how to burn a backup copy of a pc game ...... but how do i take a pc game off of a cd rom and make it an uploadable file that i can transfer over the net.

i'm trying to ### copy of games (thief , half life) to unit at work that does not have a cd rom installed (dell optiplex pentium 550)

was told that i need to "image" cd rom with nero but when i do that i get a single file with .nrg extension... i don't want that... i just want to be able to zip whole game into one zip file.

what's the best way to do it??? thanks....

if you want to put the game files into one folder to zip all you have to do is
1.open my computer,
2.then D:\ or whatever your cdrom drive is
3.highlight all the files you see there and hold down ctrl and press C
4.next make yourself a new folder by right clicking on your desktop, highlighting new, and selecting folder from the resulting menu.
5.open the folder and click on the empty space, hold ctrl and press V
6. proceed to zip the file up and do whatever you want with it.
