I think you need to be more specific,
i'm not saying i can help but is it original or backup?
and has the system been fiddled with? ever been opened, is there a modchip present?
etc...
if its original and the system hasn't been messed with in any way, then it could just be laser wear. But don't take my word for it, i don't know much about how a PS2 works.

I've heard of people having lots of problems with DVD rips of this game, such as disk read errors for one. So if it is a DVD rip, i'd suggest just buying the game It's well worth the money.

I've had that an a GTA3 original. We've sort of solved it in a number of ways and in this sequence:

1 We laid the PS2 horizontal. The Read errors stopped but FMV skip remained

2 We cleaned the lens with a flail DVD but FMV skip remained

3 We borrowed a little used PS2 - no problems whatsoever

4 We sent the original PS2 off for attention. Comes back friday

No, it is an original disc, and the system hasnt been fiddled with or modified. its only about 3 months old. If it is laser wear, how would I fix this?
