Settlers 4 no-cd

Hello,
I learned from you guys that in order to play to settlers 4 you have to patch the game first with 872 patch (for all version). But when I try to patch it, it says (around 50% patched) that I'am missing an old file, is it because I have the french version ?
Does the no-cd patch works for the french version? I have the s4fix872 and the s4 872.

Hi,

the best way is, that you make a clean installation.
If you use the fixed exe,the game should run without problems.
If you want to use the no-cd exe
use the language changer (miscdata2.cfg) from gcw:
####://www.gamecopyworld.dk/games/files/s4_langchng.zip
or
####://hosting-server1.com/gcw/games/files/s4_langchng.zip
Copy the file in the config folder from the game.
Open the miscdata2.cfg and edit the entry language to 2. (language=2)
Now it must be work in french.
