Can I skip any CD in Baldur's Gate to reduce the Cd's to max 3?

I want to copy a backup of Baldur's gate and want to know if I can skip any Cd's to reduce the backup size to 2-3 Cd's?

You may do a full install and then compress this install.
Perhaps it will be < 2GB then.
