more information is needed, this doesnt sound like a game problem, more of a hardware/software problem Sounds like driver problems, ensure you have the latest drivers for your hardware and also a recent version of direct X then do a full install of the game and use unsafedisk1 to make a testme.exe if these dont work try updating your service pack to 2 for win 2000 or 1 for the origional win 98 (ie not second edition). if this doesnt work forget it, go buy another game.
