burning software

Hi, Im about to buy a chipped PS2, but I noticed it will only play backups of imported games. I have a CD writer on my PC with the "adaptec easy CD creator 4" software to burn the CDs. Will this software be OK for creating backups of original PS2 games???? If no, what is the name of a good burning software, which would allow me to do so??? and where could I get it?????
Thanx

Easy CD is useless I'm afraid. Many PS2 games are copy protected and the only program in town for making perfect CD copies is CloneCD ( ####://www.elby.de ). On the web site you can see if your reader/burner is fully supported. To successfully copy all CD based games, the entry for you burner should be in green, showing RAW-DAO_96.

No PS2 games have any protection whatsoever, you can just do a direct copy with any software, i have 70 or so games and they all work.
