F.A.D.E. encountered at last?

I've hit a bit of a brick wall in Operation Flashpoint.....

Whenever I complete mission 15 "Spearhead" (the tank mission in the valley) the game just crashes back to the main title screen!!! Instead of jumping to the appropriate cut-scene.
I'd completed the mission several times hoping that it was a 'one off' glitch, BUT it kept happening.
I was using the NO-CD .exe
Is it possible that the game #####s for the CD during cut-scenes (for speech or what have you) etc and crashes if it's not detected??

Thankfully it was just a matter of re-installing the original .exe and using the original CD that allowed me to continue with the game......which is getting rather good at this stage

Flashpoint is crazy buggy
but try to copy your speech and movies files into your install directory or run it one time with a copy and a orginal cd...

Negative :-P
Neither the speech nor the cut scenes are loaded from cd. The whole game runs from the HDD. U only need the CD for ####ting the game AFAIK.
