NEO 2.2 with Elvis programmer/MP6 prog

Will anybody admit to being successful programming a blank c12508a chip with this combi. I've done 6 unsuccessful chips now and its not the money but pride. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!
The programmer doesnt know it is neo 2.2 Hex and the Neo 2.2 Hex doesnt know it is being programmed using an Elvis/MP6 combi.
The Elvis literature carefully describes how to do it but it wont work
