WHAT TO DO NOW ?

WILL I HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER CD WRITER IF SO WHAT IS THE BEST AT A RESONABLE PRICE ?

OR

IF I BUY A DVD PLAYER WOULD THIS SOLVE THE READ PROBLEM AND THEN WILL THE CD-RW`S WRITE THE CORRECT IMFORMATION.

Zaz,

Chill mate, what games you trying to read??

Have been able to make copys of any other consloe types ie DC or PS1???

Have you checked to make sure those writers are def not compatible with clone cd, cdrwin or nero??

For advice on the right writer make sure its clone and cdrwin compatible, i have a Hp8200i and a LG 8080 (in my pc @ work) both dont cost the earth but work with clonecd and cdr-win. And have had 100% success with them.

Have you made sure you have the writers set-up properly in your system???

little more info please mate

Dal

Warlock is on a distinguished road
The HP 7200i is compatable with cdrwin and should be able to read PSX, PS2 games. Be sure it's not a dvd game you are trying to read.

Zaz, I agree that SSX should have copied OK as I've done it before. So maybe we're looking at a naff source disk or two. To take Dal's enquiry further, what are the oriogins of the disks you are trying to copy? Are they originals? Have they worked on any PS2?

CHARILIE,

ALL OF THE GAMES I HAVE TRIED HAVE BEEN ORIGIONALS, AND HAVE PLAYED ON MY PS2 WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, THERE MIGHT OF BEEN SOME MINOR SCRATCHES, BUT THAT SHOULD NOT OF MADE THE DISC UNREADABLE AT THE START OF THE COPY !
I AM GOING TO PUT A CD CLEANER IN THE TWO CD-RW`S, DON`T THINK THIS WILL MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE, BUT WORTH A TRY.

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS

ZAZ

Zaz,

You can def make a backup of SSX cos ive done it, If the original has scratches on it then that might be a problem.
Can you get another original of SSX???

Also for tutorials on how to get the correct settings for CDRWin and CLONE CD check out www.psxcopyworld.co.uk

Have you tried to make an image file of SSX from just a CD Reader??
