Myst 3 Exile

ok I did a full install, then got the M3.exe(fixed nocd) from GCW. I put in the directory and then i run from it. ok the game starts out ok until i get to the "new game/load game screen". after choosing either my cd drive kicks open and the game prompts me for disc 1.
after this i apply the newly released "patch" for the cd drive letter being a character greater then h:/(incidently my cd drive is h:/ already since I have 2 Hard drives with multiple partitions C-G)
then I put in the fixed M3.exe and tried it again, still no dice.
So hey GameCopyWorld..... this fix doesn't work. or at least isn't working for me. is there some other file that I must remove for this to work or what.is it not working because i used the official patch? also maybe Myst is "picky" about where it is installed? anyways i own many games and prefer to play them off my hard drive as my cd is old and is a cdrw 32x4x8x so it's not meant for playing games from.

Had the same problem..Till I went to xinhs.1fx.net/ They have two patches there. one for running game without inserting cd from time to time and another patch to use on full install without any cd in drive. you want the full install patch..and IT WORKS!! File is different then the one on GCW.

It seems that the first EXE is a Fixed EXE and no No-CD...

2 new No-CD EXE's are availale since yesterday @ gcw!
