Age of empires2 1:1 cd copy

I'm obviously new here! I tried burning a couple of my cd's, some with luck some with no luck.

At the time I successfully burned starcraft, warcraft with nero,H.P. cd writer; however it didn't work with ages of empires(any of them).
I now have a tdk burner with burn proof technology, nero.

Is it possible to burn it with this and how?
I previously saw and printed a method on game copy world(when you search for a specific title and it tells you all the different things you can do),and it is no longer there why?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank

I read that the TDK is a plextor drive w/burn proof technology. If that is wrong someone outta change it under the cd writers.

Is it all the burner the tdk does everything that a plextor does!

Bot-ck what do you think?

Thanks

BOT is on a distinguished road
Just saying you have a TDK doesn't say much.
They do have different models you know.
Suggest you ##### here - ####://www.elby.de/CloneCD/english/cdr_t.htm
and if it is listed use CDClone for backing up.

Alot for the info bot-ck at least you were helpful instead of sarcastic like the other guy!!!!

I did go to the link you specified my model isn't there; it is a TDK 16 10 40, it is the newest one. this link shows the same drive that is used by plextor which is there best one.####://www.plextor.be/English/products/pxw161040A.html

your tdk will be a rebadged plextor. You will have no trouble clong AOE2. Just select the read sub channel audio and fast error skip options as some versions of AOE2 are safedisc protected.

hey, you might see my post in there too about my problem with the age of empires #1 game, you see, i burned it perfectly and it works and everything but once it gets to the main menu it says i have to have the cd, and i've gotten the patch but it says the file is the incorrect size....maybe you could help me out if you figure out your problem.....i have a creative 4x2x24x cd burner and it worked great except for that one little problem of mine.....
