Sims House Party No-CD patch makes my sound go away HELP!!!

When I installed the NO-CD patch I downloaded from GameCopyWorld ( ####://flavarites.com/gcw/games/files/Sims_house_party.zip )and ran Sims House Party, my sound was gone. The only way I can get sound is if I put back the original sims.exe and run it with the CD. Can anyone help. Thanks in Advance.

BOT is on a distinguished road
This has already been answered several times by both others and myself.
I suggest that you do a search of the forum and read those replies before I make you also go away!

"before I make you also go away! " HA, and you say English is your preferred language! Oh and another thing, (sense I'm sure I will be banned for this comment), you say that Copy is a bad word, that BACKUP is the word people should use if they know what's good for them. Game COPY World HAHAHAHA!!!!
Now if you can take it like you dish it, I will still be able to log in tomorrow.

Well, I went through tons of pages looking for the answer before finally finding the small search link at the top of the page. Had I seen that before I posted the message I wouldn’t have had to ask the question. It was my first time in the Forum and I was unaware of the Search Link. I am Very aware of the Headaches people can cause by not taking the time to look first. I did find where you had answered someone with the same question but it was with a similar response, (it has already been asked so LOOK). Someone sent me an e-mail with the instructions on how to make it work (thankx lrm). I think this is a great site!

Oh.... If anyone is looking for the same answer as I was;

You have to copy the MUSIC folder from the CD to the game directory. That’s what was suggested to me and it worked fine.
