Backup CD for Call To Power 1.2 - dumb newbie can't work it out.
How in the hell do I go about making a backup cd for this, or more importantly where do I get tools to help me, and then how do I do it.. sorry, but there's only one way to learn :/ It's the Australian version (or at least I bought it here)
Thanks! |

You have two choices really, assuming this has copy protection, which is likely. You can either use a program called CloneCD from www.elby.de or a crack.
CloneCD is very fussy about the burners it works on so ##### the compatibility list on the website, but even if your burner isn`t listed it`s always worth a try, so get the trial version and then get a copy of a protection detector program like clony. A range of protection detectors are available on CD media world. These programs will test the CD you are copying and give you the settings required in CloneCD, they are not always right though, just most of the time, so be prepared for a little experimentation. If you decide to use the crack option or your burner isn`t clone compatible, then read this post : ####://www.fileforums.com/UB/Public/HTML/B1/10861-1.topic.shtml , it should help you produce a working backup and you can use pretty much any burning program. |
