if i have a US v4 ps2 with a neo for will it play pal games. what is the differance between the PAL and NTSC. will this work if i wanted to backup Tony hawk three: Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 NTSC-2-PAL Patch US

If you have a US PS2 and a US TV, then you want NTSC games. PAL is the standard for Euro TVs and while a PAL game will play in your PS2, the video won't be decoded correctly on your TV. There does exist PALtoNTSC converters you'd put in between your PS2 and TV, but it's kind of a pain. Are there any games you're trying to get that are only available in PAL?

no not really i just wasnt sure what pal was, so if i play a pal game it will be distorted? i was looking for a rip for tony hawk three.
