i actually borrowed this game from a friend last week, i didn't expect i would play it, just wanted to see what everyone was going nuts about but it is surprisingly addictive. Anyway i made a copy (i know i should buy it, but gonna buy Black and White when it comes out and i stoped playing it now anyway). Use CloneCD with fast error skip ticked. Its protected with Safedisk so its pretty easy.

Hi,
the first to CDs are safedisc1 protected. The house party is SD2 protected. So for the first two you can use the settings metioned above. For the house party as well, but you burner has to be capable of correct SD2 burning

Actually what I did was copy all the files to my desktop (in the folder I created called "THE SIMS" and then burn the folder on a CDR with NERO!! It works perfect on my aunt and uncles PC now....LOL...

I think everthing is said about it. CaptainTrips is right about the protections, and dxpac is right about copying using NERO or any other Prog but CloneCD.
Sometimes the copy won't work anyway. Just get the cracks from this site or (as far as the Sims is concerned) do them yourself with unsafedisc. Maybe a late answer, but who cares. You'd better answer late than never, eh ?? |
