mechwarrior no cd patch HOW DO I USE IT it dosent seem to work please help

mechwarriors i need to get this no cd patch working i have the instruction but they are very brief has any one be able to get the patch working if so please send me some information thanks [email protected]

1. have you got winzip to open the patch file ?
2. if not, get winzip 8 (evaluation version) from WWW.WINZIP.COM or GCW utilities section.
3. you need to download the correct patch for your version of MW4 , theyre all english i believe on GCW. go for the fixed exe one at the bottom of the page.
4. you also need to know where you installed the mechwarrior files on your hard-drive i.e. C:drive, program files, microsoft games, mechwarrior4 folder.
5. once the MW4 folder is open click ok on your winzip file at the top i think it is and then click on UNZIP to open the patch into the MW4 folder.
6. this should then give you the option to say YES to replacing the original EXE with the new patched EXE.
7. say yes to this and then close the winzip prog.

you should now be able to play the game !
